Which carbon fiber plate should I pick?

We cut carbon fiber plate only. Full comparison on our Material Guide.

  • Everyday plate, bracket or panel → Carbon Fiber Sheet (solid)
  • Thick but light panels for bending stiffness → Aramid Honeycomb or Foam-Core (sandwich)
  • Loads from many in-plane directions → Quasi-Isotropic

Carbon fiber strength follows the fiber direction. If that matters for your part, mark the grain direction in your DXF notes.

Up to 32.5″ × 32.5″ in every plate. No minimum order. Ships in 1 week.

How to measure

  1. Rectangle or square: measure length × width of the finished cut, the size you need installed, not leftover stock.
  2. Holes, notches or a custom outline? Upload a DXF on the Custom Carbon Fiber Plate page. It is the most accurate way to describe the cut.
  3. Pick material and thickness in the quote tool.
  4. A tape measure is fine for most panels. Calipers help on small parts.
